History
Horizon Window Treatments was born in Brooklyn, NY. The company started its journey a decade ago there on Columbia Street in Carroll Gardens with a single office. Thanks to strong customer service, we earned a good reputation with a lot of returning customers that helped us grow to become one of the largest providers of Window Treatments in the New York Metro area today.
The first official showroom was opened in Midtown on East 50th Street in 2002. This was a milestone and a very big change for the company. It was the first time customers could come to our location and view the products. Fortunately, at the same time, this area of Manhattan began to be very active with a lot of new developments such as Trump World Tower, The Grand Beekman and Beekman Regent. As the housing market grew, so did Horizon, and in 2007 we opened up a second larger location on West 24th Street. Over the years we have visited and worked in some of the most prestigious buildings of the city, but we always remember our modest beginnings and are ready to help cover any of New York’s windows, big or small.
And as a wise broker once said, even the president of a multi-million dollar company, when he moves to a new place and needs blinds, he is no different than the college student who rents his first apartment in the big apple.
